The Woolpack Fishery Syndicate is very limited in members.  Ticket numbers are strictly limited in order to help preserve the quality of the fish and the 50 acre site.

'The Woolpack Fisheries' emphasis is on providing a high quality angling retreat in a secure natural, but managed environment for classic carp, Because of this reason it can sometimes take years to get a syndicate ticket, please be patient as good things come to those who wait!

• There is a waiting list in operation. The annual syndicate renewal process typically starts in November each year.

• Syndicate numbers are strictly limited, with a view to keeping fishing pressure at sensible levels and preserving the peace and tranquillity of the site.

• Membership of any of the syndicates is by recommendation of an existing member and/or interview.

• The fishery is private property and kept locked at all times, so any visits must be by appointment only.

• Cars are parked in the car park on the fishery behind a padlocked gate and secure boundary fence.

• There is a portable toilet on site which is regularly serviced. There is a supermarket and garage close to the site. Takeaways can be ordered and dropped off at the fishery gate.
